Overview

Benefit Analytics for Administrators provide partners with easily accessible analysis that will support their ability to grow new accounts, retain existing accounts, increase participation, manage their businesses, demonstrate their efficiency, and share best practices with brokers/advisors and employers.

The benefits platform includes benefit analytics for partners, a powerful, flexible, data analytics solution that provides partners with insights about their whole book of business or about a specific employer to help them make data-driven decisions that spur growth and retention. It also allows partners to demonstrate efficiency and ease of administration as well as advise on best practices in conversations with brokers and employers. The solution contains simple navigation to easy-to-interpret, interactive visualizations of key metrics related to growth, account activity, engagement, and efficiency. It also allows partners to compare themselves, or a specific employer, to the portfolio benchmark.

My Role

My role was the lead designer, responsible first for the design of the application, information architecture, and now responsible for managing the designer on the project.

Challenges & Solutions

The biggest challenge in the project was delivering complex analytics in a way that was accessible and easy to understand for partners without compromising the depth of the data. We focused on providing intuitive visualizations and creating a seamless user experience that allows for self-service exploration of key metrics. We also worked closely with the product and tech teams to ensure the solution would be scalable and adaptable to future needs.

Key Features

Technology Stack

The analytics platform is built using modern web technologies to ensure smooth integration with existing systems. We implemented responsive design for both desktop and mobile views, ensuring that partners can access the data on any device. The backend is powered by robust data management tools to support real-time analytics and scalability.

Conclusion

The Benefit Analytics for Administrators tool represents a significant step toward empowering partners with the data and insights needed to drive growth, improve efficiency, and deliver exceptional value to their clients. By enabling data-driven decisions, fostering better engagement with employers, and streamlining operations, this solution has the potential to transform the way partners manage their benefits offerings.

With a user-friendly interface and powerful, actionable analytics, the tool offers a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving benefits landscape. It not only supports partners in demonstrating efficiency but also ensures they are equipped to retain and grow their accounts, optimize participation, and provide strategic guidance to employers. Ultimately, the Benefit Analytics solution sets the stage for enhanced partner success, informed decision-making, and a better overall experience for employers and employees alike.
